Terms & Conditions of Hire

1. The owner allows the hirer, to take on and hire the trailer and any accessories subject to the following terms and conditions.

2. The Trailer and any accessories remain the property of the owner and the hirer will not, in turn. Hire, Loan or dispose of any of the hired items.

3. The hire commences when the trailer is collected or delivered and ends at the agree time of return. Additional charges for late return will be charged.

4. Deposits will be returned in full or part dependent upon the condition of the trailer when returned.

5. The trailer must not be:
a) Used to carry passengers.
b) Operated over the maximum gross vehicle weight shown on the trailer plate.
c) Used by any person other than the hirer.
d) Used outside the United Kingdom without prior written permissions of the owner.
e) Left uncoupled at any time without using the security devices supplied.

6. The hirer is responsible for insuring the trailer and accessories are up to the manufacturer’s list price. The owner will not be liable for any consequential loss arising from the use of the hired trailer and accessories.

7. The trailer and its equipment must be returned in a clean undamaged condition. The hirer agrees to pay all necessary costs to rectify any damage or clean and prepare items for the next hirer. The cost of any item not returned will be charged to the hirer at the manufacturers list price and will cover any losses incurred by the owner until the missing item(s) is (are) replaced.

8. The rights of the consumer as defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.
